If you’re unfamiliar with what Vinland is or where it’s at, it’s in North America. Tell Nessa you’re ready to go to Vinalnd and after a quick cutscene, you’ll be there. You’ll learn that your gear will be left behind in Ravensthorpe.
Go talk to Randvi about this, pledge to Vinland (it will be a separate map under the England map), and she’ll send you to the Ravensthorpe docks to meet with someone named Nessa. Haytham will ask you to stop by his bureau in Ravensthorpe and tell you about a rumored land you should visit. One is killed early in the story, two more are identified after building the Hidden Ones' Bureau, and the remaining three can only be hunted during the Lunden quest arc, The City of War.
In a Strange Land is a quest given to you by Haytham and Randvi after revealing the Maegester leader of the particular sect of the Order of the Ancients, known as the Wardens of War (they appear on the far right tree in the Order menu).
